The Fall Season 1
Created by Allan Cubitt, ‘The Fall’
follows Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson (Gillian Anderson) as she
is brought in to investigate for the London Metropolitan Police when a
murder in Belfast goes cold. The case is a killer who likes to kill
young professional women in the city and Gibson races with her newly
formed team to hunt the killer down before they kill again.
The series was picked up by the BBC Two network as they ordered an initial five episode start to the series. In the show, Gibson must piece together all the pieces to the puzzle to understand what the criminal could be thinking. Taking a look into the style of the police department, the series manages to show every detail.
